Dogs are welcome, but best to restrict them to the non-carpeted area (kitchen – gate provided so that they can see and hear you in the lounge). Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the cottage and grounds. No open fire in the lounge, and no BBQ anywhere on the premises. However, there are some items of outdoor furniture for you to enjoy alfresco lunch, etc.
Large lawn and a paddock for visiting horses, with immediate access to open forest (without the need for road work). Burley village centre is a half-mile level walk. Driveway parking for up to three cars.
There are forest walks right from the front gate. The village centre has two pubs/inns with alfresco tables.
