 Newcomer Craig Chalmers as Joseph The spectacular Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat makes an eagerly awaited return to Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre for a three week run this summer.
Having enjoyed sensational reviews, Bill Kenwright’s “Amazing”, “Superb”, “Wonderful” and “Brilliant” production has enjoyed huge success around the country with standing ovations at every performance.
Newcomer Craig Chalmers, one of the most popular finalists from the hit BBC series ‘Any Dream Will Do’ takes on the title role, having delighted TV audiences week after week with his vocal talents. The cast will also feature Tara Bethan (A finalist on BBC’s ‘I’d Do Anything’) as The Narrator and Anthony Hansen from ‘Any Dream Will Do’ as Pharaoh. Wednesday and Saturday matinees will see Alistair Brammer playing the role of Joseph.
Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including ‘Any Dream Will Do’, ‘Close Ev’ry Door To Me’ and ‘One More Angel’ - and it continues to smash box office records everywhere.
