Poole & Bournemouth Eye

I just heard that some motorists using the Esso station in Ringwood road are getting over charged when they pay at the pump, apparently it's the fault of the card people as they automatically pre authorize an amount of £60 whether you put in £10 or £60 then the difference is credited back to your account. Normally they say it's credited back immediately but some folks don't get refunded for 2 or 3 days and end up going overdrawn and incurring bank charges! Anyone had this happen to them?
