Debut Album 'Sticks & Stones' Released November 7th 2011
UK Headline Tour announced for March-April 2012
Recently dubbed ‘The future’ by The New York Times and already a No.1 singles artist following her mega-hit ‘Swagger Jagger,’ the indomitable Cher Lloyd has rallied the world’s top pop producers and finally presents her debut album ‘Sticks & Stones,’ released via Syco/Sony Music on November 7th.
Recorded over eight months in Europe and the USA, Cher’s debut features the touch of some of music’s most illustrious producers and writers. Max Martin (Britney, Katy Perry, Usher), Red One (Lady Gaga, J-Lo), Shellback (Pink, Maroon 5,), Savan Kotecha (Britney, Usher), Kevin Rudolph (Lil Wayne) and TMS (Dappy, Professor Green, Lily Allen) have all collaborated with Cher to create a collection of contemporary, street-wise pop treasures, with the lady herself co-writing a number of the songs.
Fans will already be familiar with the UK No.1 single ‘Swagger Jagger,’ Cher Lloyd’s debut single released in July. However it is Cher’s second single release ‘With Ur Love’, which features US singer / songwriter Mike Posner that has been causing the hype. Big beats and soaring melodies drive this Max Martin produced love song, which contains a beautiful vocal by Cher.
"Grow up" is a song Cher wrote for her generation which sees Cher hook up with legendary rapper Busta Rhymes. This reggae influenced track has an infectious chorus that won’t leave your head.
Elsewhere on the album Cher hooks up with Red One and samples the legendary Neneh Cherry on 'Player Boi,' reworking the lyrics of the classic 'Buffalo Stance' and incorporating that unmistakeable hook.
'Superhero,' produced by Jukebox (Willow Smith - Whip My Hair) laments the end of a relationship over a rapturous 'throw back' beat, with Cher left tormented by love's anguish. Demonstrating a diverse sound, Cher partners with American indie rock band Carolina Liar for the emotional 'Beautiful People,' a powerful heart wrenching ballad.
Cher says: “Being in the studio writing and recording with amazing people such as The Runners, Red One and Max Martin has been an incredible experience. The album is like a jukebox! Lots of different sounds and no two songs sound the same. I've put a lot into the album and I can't wait for everyone to hear the songs in full.
With such an impressive collection of killer songs, Cher is set for international stardom.

Description
O2 Academy Bournemouth originally opened as The Grand Pavilion Theatre in 1895 with various incarnations over the years. It was first used as a circus, and in 1899 became The Boscombe Grand Theatre for its music hall days and The Boscombe Hippodrome several years later. In recent times it has converted to a dance hall, a Royal Ballroom and was a renowned venue for the disco era of the 70s, club acts of the 80s and the dance explosion of the 90s. A Grade II listed building, in more recent times, it changed to the Opera House and still boasts a magnificent interior with period features, including the proscenium arch, art-deco styling and ornate steel work. The main auditorium is the heart of the venue. A stunning theatre, there are three levels for seating, plus royal boxes and booths.
