A week's residential masterclass with Sophia Rahman and Andres Kaljuste for string players and pianists of any standard. This varied course promises much to stimulate any who are open to the challenges it will present, regardless of level of attainment.
Internationally acclaimed tutors support Sophia and Andres throughout the week each bringing their own unique insights and expertise to the group. In 2011 we were delighted to welcome the Mercury Prize winning jazz pianist, Zoe Rahman, Dalcroze Eurythmics specialist Daisy Vatalaro, Alison Rhind for expert tuition in duet playing, Alexander Technique practitioner Louisa Gnafkis, the eminent classical composer Eleanor Alberga and ABRSM examiner Lucy Spencer to explore elements involved in performance. Tutors for 2012 will be confirmed nearer the date. For more details or to register an interest please contact Karen Venn at Norburton Hall or Sophia Rahman.
