Winter Ice Skating is back at the BIC Purbeck Hall with the Heart Winter Ice Rink! The rink was officially opened by Chris Jarvis and Su Pollard, the stars of this year’s Pavilion pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, along with Rebecca Marks (Snow White) and the seven dwarfs. The guests of honour at the launch, which took place on Monday, were Mr and Mrs Wyatt (pictured above with the Panto stars), who met on an ice rink in Brighton and have recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Presented with a bouquet of flowers by Chris and Su, the couple, now living in Poole, said the day had made them feel “a little like royalty”.

Great fun for all the family, the Heart Winter Ice Rink again features ‘Icicles’ – a separate area for smaller children and their parents. The rink will also feature weekly ‘Heart Club Classics On Ice Saturdays’ and ‘Heart Chilled Sundays’, along with a ‘Heart Club Classics On Ice’ night at the end of January, hosted by Heart presenters, and a Valentine’s Day event.
