Seussical The Musical hits the South Coast for the first time
BOS Musical Company will be performing ‘Seussical the Musical’ at the Regent Centre in Christchurch between the 17th and 19th June 2010.
Based on the works of children’s author Dr Seuss, this delightful family musical brings together many of Dr Seuss’ best loved stories in one magical adventure. Colourful characters such as ‘The Cat In The Hat’, Horton the Elephant’ and 'The Grinch' are lovingly brought to life through the beautiful music and lyrics of Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime & Once On This Island), co-conceived by Eric Idle (Monty Python).
Seussical made its debut on Broadway in 2000 and has been heralded as an uplifting, educational, and inspirational show appealing to the young and the young at heart! The storyline has both morality and integrity proving that though determination, honesty and a good heart, right can prevail against the odds and that the power of imagination can change our whole way of ‘Thinking’!

The Regent Centre is located in the High Street and provides a mix of professional music of all kinds, small to mid- scale touring theatre, film, dance, and is extensively used by some ten local amateur companies, representing approximately 450 events annually.
